Is this my power steering belt?
« on: 26 May 2009, 16:36 »
Its a ABF engine. Viewed from within the offside front wheel arch.

The plastic arch guard bit has come off.  Before I screw (or glue) it back on, I was thinking about changing the belt.

Is it just a case of simply replacing it?  How about tensioning it?  Hoping I can rip the old one off, and turn the pulleys to install the new one.  I'm guessing its as easy as that?

Cheers.

Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

Hello.

Which bolts on that picture do you loosen to slacken off the power steering belt?  I get a rubbing noise from the engine area when my steering is on full lock, someone told me the belt might need tightening up to stop this?

Cheers

P.S Mine is an AGG so i think its the same layout
