Why's it so much?! I doubt they're bonded windows if it's a mk1! Can you not pick one up from a scrappy and fit yourself?

For a brand new window, fitted you're looking at £80ish I think.

Really easy to fit if you can find one second hand that is clean and not brittle, mine cost £20 and fitted in 10minutes

Bloke just sold two windscreens with a stack of mk1 stuff for about £50...was on ebay..maybes try there?
whilst its out, id check under the rubbers/around on the frame for any rust as well and get it sorted if there is any

Just found a company £69 fitted for clear....£89 green fully tinted....£99 top green tinted.

For the cost of new delivered and fitted and seal if needed is it worth it.

Try to find one 2nd hand. Pay for the fuel to get there and back without breaking it. Fix it yourself making sure it's correct , seals fitted if neede...Back down the breakers.
Oh yes......The cost of a million phone calls to find one ( used that is)
