changed ht leads and now wont start

ok the mk3 1.4 was misfireing so i changed the plugs, coil, dizzy cap and rotor arm and it started though was still misfireing.
iv now changed the ht leads and the car wont start, the plugs are all sparking and am really confused, any ideas as to what it could be?

You put them on in the order you took them off?


Could be knackered leads straight out the box........it happens.

yea same order, thats a bit of a bummer. might put the old ones back on and see if it starts and replace the leads one by one, its started raining now though

did you do them one at a time?
and make sure they are fully connected

best to work back and put all the old parts on starting with the leads....then next id try the coil etc, hope it gets sorted

did you put the sensors back on / take any off?  I did this on my 8v and was confused when it wouldn't start

double check they're back on in the right order, that's the best call.
