Nice one man, was thinking of doin something like that myself, have got a lathe, not sure i like the white/ blue vw symbol with the wood though.  did u turn it ureself??

That's a massive knob you have there young man, although I'm not 100% about the VW symbol as I wonder whether the blue and white would go with my motor however traditionally VW it is (if that makes any sense).

What thread size/bolt or whatever did you use to fit it, is it just a case of glueing in the bolt or whatever, might be commissioning a mate of mine to copy the Carrera GT laminated birch gear knob as that's a classic bit of kit.
