Started My Engine Covers *(Updated Today)*
« on: 23 May 2009, 22:27 »
Decided that i would give the engine covers a paint this weekend as the weather looks reasonable up here for a change so removed them this morning removed the fastening studs along with retainers and grommets and slightly modded the r/h corner so as to see the forge d/v and to help prevent chafing the d/v hose popped to my local halfrauds for some plastic grey primer and some reflex silver and then rubbed them down ready for primer so with a bit of luck tommorrow i should get the reflex silver and 2 coats of laquer on ready for them to be fitted monday :afro:

2 x 300ml grey plastic primer £10.78
2 x 300ml reflex silver met £10.78
1 x masking tape(for the badge) £2.42
TOTAL £23.98 (with my disc card.

Nice Reasonable Priced Mod

Hi
Can you do me a big favour.
Please put up a picture of the fittings for  the elbow shaped  cover. I want to see what they look like as mine are missing.
