throttle body

right iv had a read of this thread http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=87783.0

but wanted to know is there any problems that can occur while doing this??

also are there anyparts that i may need to re-grease??

going to have a crack at it tomorow as iv been fixing bits and bobs on the b!t<h lately so thought why stop now. and as im going to also have to give it a good polish and makover with G3 compound ..(due to some fatherless son scraping my front bumper..and 2days after same thing happened to the rear :angry:) it will be a busy sunday  :smiley:

No just clean up the butterfly flap and surrounding area of the throttle body. As you have the AGU engine you don't need to worry about realigning the body as you have the cable throttle so its even easier for you  :smiley:

yep tho for the price i would fit a new throttle body to manifold gasket less than £2 for one  :wink:

hmmm ill just clean mine for now.. im a bit broke :embarassed:

any cash i got the fuel tank eats it up  :sad:

petrol prices aint helpin at 97.9  :angry:
