46 - Central Convenience: -- KWP1281
Only on vehicles with power windows. VAG-COM fine. There are numerous options/ features that can be set.

Selective Unlocking:

[Select]
[46 - Cent. Conv.] (35 - Cent. Locking for manual window cars)
[Recode - 07]
Write down the existing coding for future reference.
Enter 5-digit code from below
[Do It!]

Look at the existing Soft. Coding. If you have selective unlocking (press the unlock button on the remote once to open the driver's door, twice to open all the doors) the last digit of your coding should be an even number. To make all doors unlock, add 1 to the coding.

So, if you have a 2-door 2002 GTI that is coded for selective unlocking (00064) add one to make it 00065 so that all doors unlock with one press of the unlock button.

Hi guys, I'm new to all this. I drive a 5 door 2003 MK4 GT TDi 130 Golf. I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me with so questions.

Am trying to make the central locking on my car so it open just the drivers door first instead of all the doors. I tried to access option 35 central locking, but VCDS and VAG COM advised that the module did not exist. Am I correct that I need to use central conviniences as in the last post... all windows front and rear are electric?

How do I activate beep on lock?

Does electric windows option that everyone talks about allow the key fob to controll the windows when locking the car by the button?

What is auto lock and auto unlock.

Sorry to dig this post up after so long. Much apreciated any help you can give.

Well after a bit of time and some head bashing I the option in Central Conv. and made the changes to the locks etc. OK it was easy, but I'm slow sometimes when things are infont of me!! However I could not find the auto windows option. Come someone tell me where to find this please?

I'm also trying to sort the needles and Miles to empty with Vag Tacho 3.01. I can read the eprom and edit it, however Vag Tacho advises me that it can't write to the eeprom. My car is a Golf MK4 2003 GT Tdi 130 with the following cluster as in VAG-COM pic below. I have also included a pic of the HEX that VAG-Tacho read from the cluster. Can anyone advise if I can have MTE and needles on with ignition and if so how come I can't write back to the cluster.

Cluster Spec

Here is my cluster Hex coding

Thanks guys (and maybe girls)

Looks like yours is a Bosch cluster not VDO so I don't think you can do it?
