Wheels for Bora??
« on: 23 May 2009, 10:43 »
Gonna be getting a Bora Highline later this year (September, when my redundancy money comes through), and it will be a standard car that I am not really looking to modify as I will have a toy to play with next year. However, I don't like the wheels it's likely to come with so might want something a bit different and am open to suggestions. Please remember this will be my daily, it won't be lowered or played with - I just want different wheels. I'd also like to keep them the same size if poss. I just don't really know what's available!

The Highline is likely to come with one of these 2 designs:

This...

Or this...

Any suggestions??

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

i would get some reps, cheap enough and you could go for the same size or a little bigger for about 400-500 quid.

Bottom pair for me if it's a choice of those.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
