Keevil Airfield Day on last Monday
« on: 22 May 2009, 17:45 »
Had a good day at Keevil airfield last Monday. Bit wet to start with but dried out nicely by mid morning.

Managed to rip off one of my brake cooling duct pipes on a low kerb at the garage at lunchtime but no other dramas apart from that.

A section of video showing a lap or two if anyone is interested.

i've done this one in our mk2, i live the track, slightly different layout compared to when i drove. the last straight before the hairpin where you join was alot longer. the surface change on the right hander makes for interesting driving.

will be at colerne tomorrow

Yes I liked the layout at Keevil. They changed the last straight because of grass growing through the tarmac which made it a bit dangerous.

Colerne is a good course as well. Some good surface changes on the corners there as well. Have a good day, the weather forecast looks good for you.
