I think that looks disgusting, but I hate white and I hate Ferraris.

I love the idea of wrapping, if they did Dark Burgandy Pearl I'd seriously consider getting my Golf done!

For those that dont know:

Just read all 7 pages, but it looks wicked. But price wise, you're probably looking at about £7k - and its only ever going to look decent on immaculate cars.

Not an alternative to a respray (could hardly go using it on a battered old MK2), but as a reversable respray - wicked!

And to answer the V5 question, you would obviously have to declare the change. My car was green, but I sprayed it black - just because its green underneath - doesn't make it green!

£7k..................................Get real

We're talking exotica here, not half the price of a very good GTI these days

Nice to drool though :smug:

Looks good but I cannot see the point, they only offered that car in red but you can special order any colour you like new, that may even have been cheaper.

and white wasn't as fashionable when the car was built

Wonder how a stone chip would affect it, can just imagine it, if you drove fast enough it may shed it's white paint like a snake on the way down the M1!

Yes valid point, still think it looked better in red however.
