Building door back up
« on: 21 May 2009, 22:17 »
Sorry about the quality of the pic, but can anyone confirm where this goes, I took the doors apart so long ago, and now i cant remember  I think it fits under the door locking pin? (3 door)

Thanks

Its really bugging me, definitely a VW part, it also has a "slice" along the side, so it seems it can be opened up and slid on to whatever....

I think I may of sussed it, I think its a stabilization collar, that fits into the door frame, where the rod comes through for the locking pin, and helps stop the pin from wobbling side to side... but please let me now if it goes somewhere else!

Thanks RJ, tried to fit it to the pin, and it was clear that it wasn't going to fit, mirrors off then!
