lie to the insuance people???

ok, heres a scenario. if i was to say i have 1 years no claims (when i have 6 months) so i can get insured on a gti. what are the pros and cons. i would only be paying 1k for the car in the first place so would not claim if i binned it as i would end up paying more on insurance in the long run...

whats the deal if i hit someone else etc

Your insurance would be void and you'd probably end up in court. Might aswell save your money and not bother with insurance at all!!!

haha what a thread  :grin:, but seriously as topher said you have to prove it so you would be able to get cover even if you did they would probably ring you or send a letter through in the first few weeks asking for no claims proof which you couldnt prove so they would jsut cancel your policy.
