Its just the bolster wear that may cause disagreements!
Its down to wear and tear, and if it was an older person getting in and out - they probably struggled a little doing so. As someone said, the low miles also indicates shorter journeys, which means the driver getting in and out much more often - causing the wear.
TBH, I dont think the wear is a warranty job - its down to lack of care on the drivers part, and wear and tear is not covered by warranty.
Nevertheless, you'd get some better responses with pics etc so we can see exactly what you mean.....
