What engine oil do you guys recomend for a 1.8 8valve???

Quantum synta Silver or Gold, available from VW.

Just bought some today and an oil filter so Quantum silver from VW with their oil filters every time

Go back to quantum blue, quantum silver makes my 2 golfs smoke too much.
