you need:
loom from unit to fusebox, either easy if 90spec, or hard if pre-90! Follow the plugs from it as far as you can.
hangers from inside the dash
speedo sensor, though a mk3 one will also work. may as well use his though as he'll need a normal speedo cable!
loom from speedo sensor to dash, but this might be a fair bit of work. not hard to make your own loom up using mk3 speedo sensor plug

so sire Jonny of Rub

when you say "fair bit of work" are you talking a days rewiring or is it just follow the wires and unplug

i'm guessing his car is a per 90 like mine so is removing the wiring inside the car REALLY difficult ??

do you have a wiring diagram i could beg from you ???

main issue is the speedo loom will be integrated into the engine or lighting loom, so prob best to leave his alone and make your own one up see. dash wiring is dead easy if its 90spec as it runs from clocks to dash and is completly seperate to any of the other looms.
I have mk2 and mk3 diagrams, these should be enough to get it sorted, im 90% sure the speedo sensor is wired in as per mk3 :)

I agree with Conker, this is the only 'scene' item i'd really enjoy having.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Surely those two hiccups should be easy to remedy? Sounds like your using an IGN live, not constant live.
