hi lads need some help i have a mk2 gti 4dr and my boss bought a evo 1 as a track day car and as needing
new seats i bought his recaros which were in it off him so ive took out the old seats not realising what the frames were like underneath is there a way of swapping them or do i have to buy new frames major head scratching going on!

Joe can get new frames from Recaro, as he has an account with them, about £80 per side.

You'd have to measure the seat base holes I guess, just to make sure the frames have holes in the exact place though.

Other than that, it's ebay stalking, or knocking up some custom frames. I've seen a set of evo seats on some custom cut scirocco frames, which looked pretty good actually.

Hi, yes, depending on what seats they are, I'm assuming they're Recaro Sport trendlines. I can supply you bolt on subframes to fit your car and yes as Bomp says they're about £80 a side. You'll need to check that the current subframes on the seats can be un-bolted first though.
