i'd have gone with grease both as a moisture barrier and because you wouldnt wash your car with fairy liquid due to the salt in it?? that'd corrode sh!t quicker and never dry up??

Cheers for all the info on that :) Used some washing line and fairy liquid and went in easy, just had to put some force on the line pulling for the corners apart from that its well easy :) Thank god for non-bonded windows :D

I've got it in now and my new bonnet on, just got to wait till the end of the month, work out my burget and get the bonnet sprayed :)

Go on my son, well done.

Re getting bonnet sprayed, i'd stay away from any airbrushed unicorns or damsels with coiled serpents, but that's just a personal preference

Hahaha! I was thinking of getting a nice Unicorn put on, it really does tempt me

Spraying it black till I can afford to spend out some real money on a good sprayer.

 Go with some black board paint. That way when you're parked up you can get the chalks out draw a unicorn or a trans-am esque bird, safe in the knowledge it'll wash off in the first shower
