No bonding on a MK2, its a rubber seal, need some string and washing up liquid, put the string round the seal where it goes onto the car apply a small amount of pressure to the outside and pull the string out, as you pull it the seal should pop over the lip where it sits, put the washing up liquid round the seal as it helps it slip on, but i woukld recomend getting a quote from auto window screens or someone like that as from memory its not that expensive with the glass, the first one i did i broke the glass applying too much pressure so ended up getting a another screen so next time i got someone to come and do it and i think it cost me about the same as buying 2 screens from the breakers.
(there was also a small chip on the corner of the screen where i cracked it so if you get from a scrappies make sure there are no small chips)
