hhhmmm... with a grand in my pocket i would be on the hunt for a mk1 that needs a little love..... get it home and strip it out, drivers seat, roll cage etc.... nice 1.8 lump with twin webbers......drool....

lol she wasnt trying to stop me buying or doing stuff, I just change my mind all the time and shes trying to keep me on track with my design i had drawn. Everytime i stray i end up regretting it lol.

Im giving some serious thaught to a 8VGTI right now, I guess i could save about a grand in the next few months towards one providing i didnt do any work on my current car, Or save two grand and get a fresh 16V motor and breaks done at DesignaDubs.

Ok a new question, What would you do if you had ?5,000 to spend on a dub! Not on parts, But on a dub. You have to go out on the net, Find any car you would buy for less than ?5,000 and post it back here, Best find gets a Prize :D

the wheels are licenced replicas of Porsche "cup 2" wheels and are made by Mille Miglia.. their model is also cup 2 :)

they sell them pre-chromed or looking normal
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

is that the Vr6? if so i went against him 1/4 mile at santa pod. I'm sure he paid 5k for it and was gutted that most of the history was bogus and had some faults....
