Hi all!!!!
Picked up my first GTI and couple of weeks ago after 13mths of pain owning a 06 Porsche Boxster (someone crashed into me, both sides keyed down the whole of the car, roof problems and many more things) plus the fact that it wasn't very practical and very noisy it just had to go!!!!!!!
After a few weeks of research for me it had to be a GTI (in grey). Had a BMW, Fast Fords so wasn't bothered about returning to them so a VW it was. The fact that it's a quick and quiet hot hatch that isn't in your face so you aren't attracting attention was what won it for me.
I just wish i bought one sooner!!!! Thought about waiting for the mk6 but i don't like the look of it, plus i've saved a few quid going for the mk5!
Already gone for an engine remap, 30 edition rear lights, full window tint, speaker and sat nav system upgrade, DVD player install (keep the girlfriend quiet on long trips!!) plus other bits and bobs. More to come too!!!
