My sis gave me her mk1 gti cabriolet a couple of xmases ago.
Took it to regent st on my birthday after getting it MOTd and taxed etc, and before I could park a massive bang occurred and steam started shooting everywhere.
Got a tow back home and that's where Kev has been sitting for the past 2 years.
The time has come however to open him up. I am replacing the cooling system to begin as the hoses were rusty, rad was laughable, etc etc.
I have most of the hoses in a bag, a new rad and am ready to start - thought I should say hi as i'm sure i'm gonna need some help over the next few months/years if the bug gets me again.
