gti mk3 cutting out

iv got mk3 2l gti it keeep cutting out like its running out of petrol when warm, iv cleaned throttle body, changed temp sensor
 changed fuel pump relay and ecu power relay, please some1 help me!!!!! its driving me crazy, vw havnt got a clue im sure 1 of you guys can help me.  ppppppppppppp please, lol :cry:

dizzy or hall sensor can play up when warm, need to get it on vag-com or similar really
MK3 GOLF GTI 8V  now converted to 16v!!

i had a similar problem
got a serial lead and disc from ebay and reset ecu and cleared all codes
car running fine now

Could be a ECU or Fuel pump relay  :rolleyes:

mine cut out when warm but that was crank sensor stopping spark

Dont get me started on this mate my motor has been in the garage for the past 2 weeks trying to get this problem sorted.
So far I have replaced the crank sensor, hall sensor, temp sender unit, dizzy, fuel pump relay, and lastly the ecu (if it arrives in the post today hopefully).

If this doesnt work it will be taking a long drive off a short cliff!

well my pretty new crank sensor, proper vw one was the problem, a crappy old one from the scrappy w/bare wires hanging out everywhere has sorted it lol, i will get a new 1 but am skint, ill have it if you really dont want it lol :tongue:
