Rear Windown problem

hi all i have a 5dr gti and every time i shutt the drivers dorr or go over a harsh bump the drivers rear windown slides down 2 or 3 inches and the motor puts the window down but not up can anyone help me???

Hi there,  That's exactly what happened to mine yesterday, well mine dropped an inch then it fell all the way into the door when i tried operating the window button.
I guess it's remove the door card, remove the foam cover then take the whole mechanism out, see what the problem is and or replace the necessary parts, Yep i know..it's pi**ed me off as well!  lol and i already have my drivers window to tackle for the same thing!  damn n blast the thing!  Ford Focus anyone!?

my drivers rear window did this  iv taken door card off and it looks like a wire snapped  does any1 know if i can just replace that or do i need the full motor
