Good spot but the MX5 nose is off a mates car not mine.

Tiger seal will be fien as there's plenty of area to bond the 2 surfaces.

Good work Nick,
Q, Is the roof trimmed back as far as its going to go? or does the new roof panel fit up to where the spot welds are, ie are you just waiting until you new roof panel to turn up, before you trim back further?
I would also strongly recommend that you don't use Tigerseal to bond the panel in place, its not structurally ridged enough, its simply the wrong product for the job! Instead, use windscreen bonding adhesive, with the correct primer that it'll come with, you'll need 2 tubes, and about £15ish off ebay

Yeah I will trim it back more when it arrives, just wanted to get on with something at the weekend.

Good tip on the sealant, cheers bud.

Obviously not been on here for some time but I do see this pop up on FB from time to time... This is really coming on nicely.  Keep it up fella, and the good work on the car.

Likewise, now that I've got some spare time I've been catching up on project threads. When do you hope to have it painted and rebuilt by?
