Not dirty thoughts about selling it and just continuing with MX-5s?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Nope, I do love the mx5 and it's well in my top 5 cars I've owned but the golf is firmly ensconced in the number 1 position.

Understandable. I will find a set in the end but it may take a while. In the mean time I've been having dirty thoughts about 15x8 Dare RS reps with gold centres.

I will  leave you buried in cornwall if this happens.

To be fair the dare reps look so much better than the lenso equivalent.

A very productive weekend.

* Cage door bar brackets welded onto main hoops.
* Door bars cut to length, attachments welded on and bolted in.
* Rear cage feet modified for a better fit.
* Wings, bonnet and rear 1/4s prepped for primer coat.

I looked again at the seat mounting as it was cear bolting the side mounts to the floor would leave the seat way too low. Considered fabbing something up but time is ticking by till the paintshop window so ordered some weld in brackets from JJC Race and Rally.

Polycarb rear window and passenger door window should arrive this week and I need to get down to East Sussex asap and pick up my clear front screen and new windscreen rubber.

No pics, broken the camera on my phone.
