Yeah it's very comfy and was excellent when blatting round the roundabouts. I'll get some pics of it all fitted in over the weekend and also take it out for a bit of hardcore lane bashing on sunday.

paint scheme is nice!  although i do love the plain white with black trim
Wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

No it's Mark modding a subframe

The seat does sit a little high but I'd say no higher than a standard GTI and the adjustments still work.

Well I'm taking it to the reading meet tomorrow and the paintwork was looking dreadful! Big black runs down the side from the window rubbers that shampoo wouldn't shift so today I broke out the T-Cut! Looks much better but I still need to finish the roof. Hopefully I'll get time in the morning to re-black the plastics and maybe even slap on a layer of wax.

Photo tomorrow of it looking spangly and the bucket seat fitted tomorrow afternoon!

Pics of the bucket at last.

Many thanks to Mark for sorting the subframe out and Simon for his welding skills.

And a couple of pics from todays Reading Meet.

thats how i was going to do it.. but im 6 foot 1 and 22 stone and my head hits the roof now.........

i think i will use parts of the subframe but im going to lose the height adjustment, which means the missus wont drive the car, which int a bad thing i suppose.
