Right I've found a guy on eBay who can do me the replica Shell and Champion stickers in the right size for about £25. The Dunlop ones are easy enough to sort but the two tricky ones are going to be the Quantum  stickers and the period Dunlop/RAC Touring Car door/bonnet numbers. I need to find some better photos of them and see if someone can then knock them up.

As for the blue stripes I've check and rustoleum seems to come in the right 2 shades of blue but I've asked for a proper colour chart in the post so I can double check before ordering it.

If you're stuck for a laptop I may have one for you @ work, we've got loads of the 98/ME/2000 era laptops but not sure if they work.
Otherwise I could always come over with 1 of mine

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

1:30 onwards for about 10 secs you catch a few glimpses of it being murdered by Rouse and Sopers in the RS500's.

Nick,

I am loving this idea, it is just great.  Did I notice another car with a colour scheme based on a grey car?  Hummmmmmmmmm

Yeah i think there was a grey one as well.

I need to pop round and cross your palm with silver for those placcy widows. I'm not around this weekend, but next weekend should be OK.

No rush mate, there not going anywhere, but i am tempted by your idea of a "look" that actually has some basis in real motorsport.
