You'll be good on the twisty bits but then the Combe circuit is a bit of a quick one so yes, be prepared to move over!!!

The guy I bought it off also runs one of the 928 S4's in the list and he said that the Golf laps combe faster then his 928. With me or my Dad behind the wheel? Highly unlikely, but it's good to know the car has potential even if the drivers are total noobs!

the 928's arnt actualy that fast just think  2 ton when someone says 300bhp.   i got caught out by that one sat theer thinking" why hasent it overtaken me yet ?? " then realised the golf was actualy a bit quicker than soem of them.   in the wet a golf will EAT  ALL the porches and tvrs

If it is wet don't get overenthusiastic on cold tyres on a damp track. My mate did that and this was the result a bit after Camp Corner (not Quarry!!!)

Picked up a replacement front valance in red oxide today at the show. Got home and it's already painted and ready to fit. Will probably bolt it on tomorrow night.
