Hey guys,
After a few years of owning 'sensible' cars... Mk4 Golf 1.8T, Lotus Elise 111S and BMW 325Ti Sport, I decided to realise my childhood ambition of owning the original and best hot hatch, the Mk2 GTi. Wanted a 90-spec car that was as original as possible. Like many, I wanted a 3-door Oak Green 16v with BBS RAs, but stumbled upon this little beauty just over a month ago and decided to go for it.

Ended up paying £1500 for her, and overall I'm really pleased. Still a little TLC required to get her to the standard that I want, but so far I'm loving the character of owning an old car that's a bit of a talking point.
Anyhow, after owning modern cars, I'm really not a natural mechanic, so this forum has already proved invaluable. Thanks in advance for all your help!
