Swap'd seats with different plugs.
« on: 07 May 2009, 21:57 »
Evening All.
Need some help and advice and part numbers.
Changed my seats for some cow hide.
Only trouble is the plugs are different for the air bags.  was kinda hopinng they'd be the same.  :lipsrsealed:
So the situation now is no air bags.
I've cut the plugs off my old seats and cut the plugs off the leather seats.
This is my plug.

Whats the best way to connect these back up? Solder?  :undecided:
The wire coming out the plug is short.  can i get new wires?
Any help would top notch. :afro:

Thanks people.

Yeah, was bound to happen mate.  :lipsrsealed:
It looks like i've got to get the wires out. Or maybe i buy two new plugs and hope they have some longer wires?   :undecided:

If i can get the old/short wire out of my connecter i'll just need these. Part Numbers for the wire for the connector

I'm hoping the colours match that of the car loom, i.e brown to brown as i never saw which wire went where, if ya catch my drift.

KY Right then, How much do ya think this lot cost?  :lipsrsealed:

Think were getting somewhere now. We managed to get the old wire out the blocks.  :smug:

Trimed the seat wire back and the new yellow wires.

Then joined them up.

Like a glove.

No more air bag fault showing.  :nerd:
