Im doing a CV boot and cant get the shaft out of the hub!  I have shatterd my good hub puller,  broken a brand new halfords one... and stumped.  i have tried WD40, tapping it, smashing the hell out of it... everything.  Im stumped!  Any tips?

I would think your only choice now is heat to be honest.

No its not a VR6,  1.4 MK3 strangly enough.  I tried wood, i tried just the nut on the end and batter the crap out of it, have now tried a propane tourch, THREE HUB PULLES!!! Including a very good one from my freinds snap on tools.  It just wont budge.  madness
