Jords G60 Detail
« on: 06 May 2009, 23:38 »
alreet

did a detail for Jord a while back and have been lazy at getting the pics up... finally got around to it tonight

car started off looking clean enough from a distance

upon closer inspection paint was as rough as a badgers arse

degreased with a 50/50 mix of TFR and CG Orange Citrus Degreaser

quick snow foam and wash

bit of clay using dodo born slippy and sonus green clay

another more concentrated snowfoam and thorough rinse

the snowfoam doing its biz

I could then see what I was left with - swirlsville

got down to the cutting and polishing... used a combination of megs pads with various passes using megs 83, menz final finish polishes

only did one 50/50

panels polished up quite nice though (pre sealant and wax)

final pics - post wax using dodo juice wax

before and afters...

interior was a treat! - thanks Jord!

turned out nice though - mainly cleaned using poorboys APC

wheels cleaned with bilberry followed by 2 coats of poorboys wheel sealant

thanks for reading

Well im glad to see it was done properly! looks immense, an i swear it added 7bhp (although that could have just been sh!te removal from the back seats!)

Nice one guy, pics like that make me want to keep it!

p.s i want snow foam, makes it look like christmas
