ps3 arcarde car driving game with gti, what game is it?

i had a wonder around PC World a couple of weeks ago, it had a driving game on in store. That particular game had mk5 gti in it. I'm a bit out of touch on games, but would like to know what it is. It had damage on it too, i.e. bumper, lights etc. breaking if hitting things lol

and/ or any recommendations to a good ps3 driving game?

i borrowed a ps3 off a friend and brought myself gran turismo to play on and i know it's not that.

can't remember much else really apart from the mk5 gti, more arcade type, with damage. it was quite good the couple minutes of play

as it was recent, i assume it won't be an old game either, although i could be wrong.

really not sure, as i went down to GAME to have a look today

should have asked in store when i was playing

maybe Grid or a Need for Speed

the game i did play, was set with cars going one after the other

All recent NFS games have been shocking, frame rate is appauling so steer clear! Wait for GT5 due in Q3 (In theory) will be the boll*cks if prologue is anything to go by.

Motorstorm Pacific Rift is wicked fun for a quick boot it up, play for 10 mins kind of game, or Burnout Paradise, most others imo are not great (I've tried most)
