« on: 02 May 2009, 01:41 »
Well ive fitted 3 installs in a fiesta, bmw 3series and a corsa but the golf mk4 is a total different story!
Basically i have no idea how to get the power cable frm the battery into the car.

so if somebody could post a STEP TO STEP guide of how to wire a golf mk4 it would be MUCH appreciated!!!!!!!!

cheers:D  :embarassed:

yes theres a gromit behind the battery area, takes some looking to spot though ( i think  ) use coat hanger and fold cable around the hanger and pull it through and fit it under the plastic trim in car

no need to take out mate just put passanger seat right back and get on your knees andpull the carpet down and look upbehind the glove box , you will see about ten cables in a bundle just attatch tyour amp power lead to a long screwdriver with tape and push it throught where the cables go be careful not to damage the cables and it will pop throughin to the engine bay....job done takes ten mins
