armoured door plates
« on: 01 May 2009, 21:36 »
hey guys/gals

well i haven’t been on for a while hope everyone’s doing fine.

I still have my mk3 16v and haven’t really done much work on it until today .

i had her broken into the other week, they busted my lock and stole my dvd player, ID in my name & they even had the cheek to take my fags as well i really did feel sick that night but very angry and the same time

anyway i decided to fit the armoured door plates you can buy and i'm happy with the out-come, you cant even tell its been broken into and it protects the thin door skin on the mk3s. seriously i didn’t know how easy it was mk3 security is rubbish without any add ons.

the police are still on the case and the cctv cameras are yet to be looked at they probably wont find anything but hey-ho.

Just a reminder for all you guys get some security for your mk3 ASAP.

my next purchase will be a Clifford g5 so they can fu8k right off next time + its parked under a cctv camera when not in use.

MK2 golf 16v :-)

where to the armoured plates fit? How big are they? Any pics. Atm i have an idea of them in my head fixing on the inside of the door to be a 2nd layer or something around the handle n lock? But could be wrong.
