How to install exterior LED lights ???

Well Lads i bought a couple of strips of LED lights to sit near my fog lights.

They look pretty snazy lit up at night 

When I'm installing them though i was thinking they would just attach to my positive and negative region of the side lights?

Anyone know if that should be cool and anyone have pics of the + and - parts of the sidelights? Know where they are?

sorry I cant help as I have no idea, but I do know that these lights belong on fairground rides, not in the lights of a MK5.
