Correct dipstick?

Edit: Being a dumbass - the first pic is just the broken bit of the original adapter still attached to the dipstick.

Carefull changing it for a new one, looks like its broken ito little pices, you dont want them floating round your engine oil  :shocked:

odd littel bit of plastic in the oil won't do any harm,  there is a strainer on the pickup and even if someones punched a hole in that the oil pump gears are significantly harder and tougher than plastic then it'll get caught in the oil filter as it should
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

I had that problem with mine - When I pulled it off, some plastic fell down the hole. The dipstick retrieved it though :)
