VW BORA! ANYGOOD??
« on: 30 April 2009, 12:15 »
As a future idea, how good are the VW Bora 1.9TDI's in terms of quality & the usual reliability and are they quick off the mark

I think they look fine. A MK4 with a bigger boot

usually I am listening to my own pistons trying to make a bid for freedom through the sump

My Dad has had two and maintians they are among the best cars he's ever had. This coming from a man who's had a Lotus Elan, Lotus Cortina, Saab 900 Turbo, Alfa Sud and a MKIII Golf VR6.

I would say that's a glowing endorsement. He's had a 110 TDI and is currenlty running a 130 TDI.

Who cares its a VW, and what do we all have in common, we love them dearly............................Right up to the point they need new parts  . Anyway thanks for all the inputs. Here is another question! for the 1.9TDI what Bhp ranges where there / are there?
