Paint colour

Hi all,

I have a '94 GTi and need to respray a part of the bodywork... problem is I'm not sure what colour it is. It's a very dark metalic red, burgandy colour.

I think it's the same as this, but it's changes depends how the light is hitting it http://i12.ebayimg.com/06/i/001/45/63/bf6a_3.JPG

Was there only one red the same as in the picture? I've been to halfords and there is one call something beginning with 'C' pearlescent paint... Sorry for being a bit vague here

Thought it was Indian red but looks slightly lighter.

Open the boot and there should be a sticker in there with your paint code on it.

The sticker should either be on the rear panel or under the carpet next to the spare wheel hole

Im not sure but doesnt it have the paint code somewhere on the car?

Sorry if im wrong just thought i heard it somewhere when something like this came up before :smiley:

Dude, that car is on ebay, and it states the colour in the title

Wouldnt advise the halfords match paint.

Can be good, can be poor, depending on the person making it.

bought a tornado red paint chip thing from halfrauds and colour is spot on
