Wats Cheaper 2 Insure Mk1 or Mk11,

Hi All, going to be getting another gti in Jan,
when i get my licence bak!!, and i was wondering if you all new which is the cheaper to insure a Mk1 or Mk11 gti,

i know it's going to be expensive which eva it is! but we do pay for our mistakes.

There's probably not much in it, the mk1 you may be able to get a 'classic' policy on because of their age. Depending what your mistake was, as you say they will both be expensive!  

Do some on-line example quotes with www.elephant.co.uk or www.egg.com for some sort of idea

I have always found that a Mk1 is cheaper to insure but only buy about ?100
