« on: 27 April 2009, 18:07 »

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

NEXT JOKE bradley.

Yeah, it will find the parts, type in mels polo reg, brings up 3 different sets of pads, all different sizes by about 5mm.

And 2 different sets of discs, vented and solid. Easy to see we need vented, not solid.

But the pads........ no chance, will have to match them up in the shop.

It done this when i tried to find this guys pads and discs. Be VERY careful what pads u buy, it will say they are the same price, and for your car, but if you look, it will list a few different ones for the same price, and the dimensions are different by a bit. And will cause them not to fit right.

ECP website is crap - FACT

the polo is crap!!  :lipsrsealed:

the golf on year and engine has 1 set of solid discs and pads  (although it will give 3 different sets depending on brand)

Scrap dealer, take the whole unit from a GTI :), prime breaking then ( how i dream about 288mm disks and ABS, its not the best ABS but its ABS).

Im in the same boat, my brakes are crud so i have invested in new 10mm brembo solids (grabs drill hehe).

In terms of ECP i found them useless, they didnt have a clue what pads i needed (correct size(not hard)) so i went straight to my reliable old friends at GSF  :smug:

usually I am listening to my own pistons trying to make a bid for freedom through the sump
