Today i have driven 300 miles, from essex to oxford and back again and i have not seen a single mk2 either way, I saw 1 mk1 clipper, loads of mk3's and newer golfs, 3 bay campers, 1 lovely split rear window bug,(one of the best ive seen) but no mk2 golfs at all,
Maybe im a bit too sad to be counting how many dubs ive seen but i get bored on the motorway. route i went was A12 M25 M40`
next time your on a long journey see how many u see, (not including in your own town)
