I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I haven't been able to find anything by searching. I drive a MkV GTi.
I have a bit of a weird problem which I can't for the life of me figure out. Every time I turn left at speed (usually above 60 km/h) when changing lanes on the highway for example, i hear a whistling/chirping noise coming from the front passenger side air vent. The sound only happens when the A/C is switched on and sounds like a very high pitched "weep-weep-weep" sound. Kind of like squeaky metal I guess. To be honest the sound is very hard to describe. Suffice to say that it is high pitched enough to notice even with the music turned up loud.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
