as title states,what are they like? what sort of power are they and is there any bad points bout the engine?

they run 300+ i believe. Sound like jet plane taking off so ive heard, and they pull like bonkers.

been offered a swap for my impreza turbo and cause i miss my old golf so much i dont kno what to do.what sort of MPG does the supercharged vr6 have,more or less than my impreza?
all i kno is its cheaper on insurance by about 500quid. :smiley:

I would swap one for a mk2 vr S if i was in your situation. scoobys drop in value quicker too. The mk2 will hold its price.

If its a mk3 vr -S...dont bother :tongue:

Depends what your after, hard to beat the 6 pot noise in my opinion. If the body is sound, i would go for it.
