A few questions...
« on: 22 April 2009, 22:04 »
Well picked the little silver minx up yesterday and am suitably impressed...  grins all round!

Will get some pics up on the weekend!

Just a few questions thank you please, one of the keys is missing the vw logo, are they easy to get hold of and where from? The dealer did supply mats but they certainly aint GTi ones  they'll do the job for now but really fancy some official ones, would it have to be the dealer that i get them from?

And need some ideas for subtle mods, was thinking of pressed plates to start, again prices and suppliers would be great! Any other mod suggestions would be welcome!

Cheers in advance!

I got my GTI mats last week from a dealer, £70 for the full set.

My mate got pulled for having his pressed plates the other week and got fined, cant remember if it was £30 or £60.

I used a drawing pin to remove my key badge, it ended up being stuck up my nail (yes it was painful!)

Bloody hard to get the badge off!

badges are easy to get off mate i just used a tiny watch screwdriver and carefully prised it off on both keys as were all faded, got 2 off fleabay £2 each delivered to door happy days, you should get gti mats from ebay cheap dnt think they genuine on there tho but look the part for replicas, but if you have new genuine ones anyway you might aswell get some wear on them 1st, i asked for gti ones when bought my car in feb but only got standard grey ones, look ok though i suppose
