Hello I'm Julia I have just purchased the gt tdi 150....I pick him up on Friday any suggestions on nice mods are welcome as I am new to the golf. Previously had a Yaris Tsport. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. No doubt I'll be asking for alot of car advice been a woman :embarassed:

Welcome along, yeah as T_J_G says start in the £100 section  :wink: Then think about lowering, wheels, ARB's etc :cool:

welcome.  I'd recommend suspension first.  Decent set of coilovers will make it look and handle much better for £250-£400.

Choose some nice wheels you like, always best first mod, then lower it!

thanks for the advice and welcomes ...here are a few pics ....I managed to get the car for £5299.00




My plans are
1. lowering but need to know how low to go and what springs to go for
2.window tints
3.thinking maybe putting either smoked lights or clear lights on rear(not too sure at the moment tho)suggestions please
4.colour coding the black on the splitter and also on the back...unless there are parts I can put on instead.
5. I nice set of 17" or 18"  multi spoke alloys
I think that should do for now.

2.window tints
