Only R32's registered after April 2006 are subject to the £400+ tax.

Mine was regsitered May 2006 :undecided:
see, so SOME R32s do have to pay £400 tax.  :tongue:

But those are Mk5's and not Mk4's. And we're in the mk4 section :p

Exactly my Kentish friend - I quite clearly kept this mk4 relevant!!

So have the goverment done a u turn then?
MK4 GTI T AGU, REVO Remap, BMC carbon box, Miltek cat back, Forge diverter valve, THS FR3 engine/Gbox mounts, Some random alloys, lowered on coilovers.

I thought so cause the last i heard my scoobie was going to cost me £300 a year in tax, but also my wifes old Focus 2.0l was going to be the same.
Well thats a relief for the time being, still getting rid of the Jap crap though and getting me a piece good old German engineering or 2.

3rd Gear mashed, need either repair, recon or breakers, loooking minimum £600, partly my own fault, driving it far too hard far to much, but hey if you got it you might aswell use it properley!
