'kin' 'ell - don't you lot know owt about your own bloody cars?!

Golf3 Syncro wasn't imported to the UK as RHD was too much hassle, for too few sales.  The Syncro variants were very popular in the more mountainous and wintery regions of Europe.

Golf3 Syncros were available as normal (standard shape) Golfs and the estate.  They were fitted with the following motors:

1.8 petrol
2.0 petrol
1.9TDI
2.8/2.9 VR6

If you want to see what's available go here: http://www.autoscout24.de

and put in Volkswagen as the marque, then select Golf in the next box, then put Syncro in the key word box below that.  Should give you a good idea of what's out there.

Here's a little something to whet your appetite - Golf3 VR6 Syncro estate: http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=lfh1l4rxosom
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Never seen a MK3 syncro before.

I have seen the mk2 version whilst visiting the dub show at Stonor Park & that was in the car park not in the arena!
It looked like it was on stilts.
