Once in our life everyone has driven and old banger thats not on top form, and im at that stage

Over the winter my car had a weee, ok slightly large leak, through the passenger door!  The leak is all sealed up nicely, but were the carpet has repeatedly got damp and then dried, mould has sprouted and my car is beggining to smell like my old kit bag

Anyone know any good tips for getting rid of this with out having to hunt down a new carpet

wash and wax the carpet?  

I did that to my seats and they came out mint

dont be lazy, pull the whole interior out and give the carpet a good scrubbing.  or as vix would do ' buy a very strong air freshener'

Done that already, but it's more along the lines of blowing up a deo can in there!

Gonna take the interior out again tomorrow and hoover everything up with the ultra powerful hoover i got and then try scrubbing it with some disinffectant

Might just rip the carpet out and buy soem plush and deep carpet for ya living room and bung that in there

Would look cool with white carpet, looks in adams direction for his next idea, would need white leather seats aswell

Got rid of the mould, fresh smelling car for once and shiny carpet
