Looks like the problem was fuel, it happened again Today.  Poured small amout of petrol down inlet manifold and fired straight away.

Pump seems to be OK so once V5 arrives I'll give it a few good runs.

My KR engine 16V has started to develop a starting problem too... last week when I got in it at lunch time to head home (gotta love living 5 mins away from work) I had to give it some gas to start, normally starts first time every time. it has done that a few more times at around midday since and this morning it gave me a problem starting (bout 8:30) so I think it's getting worse  ::)

So I guess it's gotta be one of these:
Fuel Tank pump
K-Jet pump (I am right in thinking there are two pumps aren't I?)
Cold start Valve (none on ebay  >:( )
Cold Start Metering Device (is this the same as above?)

Is it worth replacing any of them yet or waiting till something dies?

BUMP

It is getting worse. it stalled today after I gave it some gas to start, had to put my foot on it to keep it revving at about 1200 (bit like self choking it ::) ). Anyone?
